Local Lumber Goes to Washington!
Congratulations to Sandpoint's Riley Creek Lumber, which provided the lumber for the Presidential Inauguration dias at the Capitol in Washington D.C. last January. The platform was built with more than 10,000 board feet of Riley Creek lumber designed to hold about 1,600 people, including president-elect Barak Obama, vice president-elect Joe Biden, outgoing president George Bush and members of the Senate and House\".
