North Idaho College offers on-site college-level courses at their Sandpoint Center on Second and Church. The University of Idaho Cooperative Extension Service Center on North Boyer Avenue also has a distance-learning classroom. The U of I was named one of the most wired public institutions in the nation by Yahoo! Internet Life Magazine. The school ranked 12th in the nation and received an "A" in student resources, e-learning, and technical support and was praised for its efforts to help faculty use technology in the classroom.
